A piece I made for my installation in Cagliari on the railway station in the summer of 2015. It is made from field recordings of Flamingo's in the salt lakes of Cagliari and samples of the first three notes of the song 'Flamingo' by various artists, the first voice is Carmen Mcrae. "Flamingo" was written by Ted Grouya and Edmund Anderson and first performed by Herb Jeffries and Duke Ellington in 1940.
