The Reminiscence is a 4-piece Los Angeles based indie rock band that combine vintage ideals with modern songwriting techniques. They combine the sincerity and emotional dexterity of 80’s british-pop music (i.e. The Smiths, the Cure, The “The” bands, etc.) with the layering techniques and sense of melancholy associated with the 90’s shoegaze scene (i.e. My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, Ride, etc.) to invoke a truly cathartic listening experience. Their members come from bands spreading across a multitude of genres (punk, psychobilly, metal, singer-songwriter, etc.) to create a truly unique sonic perspective.
