Invisible Firm presents "MĭNT" 
A song about romance born naked amidst adversity. I wrote it at a time where — because of my struggling financial situation and spartan living arrangement (a bed made of summer clothes) — I was able to quickly see, without filter, who was genuinely interested in getting to know me. I began to view it as a sort of blessing that obliterated the elusive cloaks over people's intentions.

Instrumental of Vampire Weekend's Taxi Cab. I removed the vocals leaving me with just the rad awesome honkytonk sounding piano part and really faint hand claps. I slowed down a drum break from the end of Body Work by MSTRKRFT, both for effect and to match up with the piano riddim, rearanged a little bit, and shplooshed on the harpsichord/string section bits from later in the song. And viola, a nice little rework of an excellent vampyweeks track. Enjoy. I did have to repost this because I made some edits. Edits included a new spaced out intro, brief appearance by the into drum track from Don’t Come Around Here No More by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, some little backwards pre-snare noises and more hats and stuff, and some backwards delay weirdness at the end.
