Progressive-Pop, or "Prog-Pop," is a new experimental genre that The Republik is attempting to pioneer. Taking the musical savvy of their progressive rock roots, bands like Rush, Yes and Tool, and applying it to the mainstream market-- The Republik looks to bridge the gap between the head-nodders and the screaming teens, giving everyone something to listen to.
