Sometimes the problems in life seem insurmountable, like the mighty Goliath. But inside of all of us there is someone mighty, a David, ready to answer the call. The Resolvers are back with an inspiring new roots-rock reggae song, Awake David.

Awake David is the first new single from The Resolvers in a few years, and they have really doubled down on their strengths with this one. Standing out clearly are the soulful vocals of Sahara Smith and her brother O'Jay Smith, who deliver the message as smooth as silk. The children of Jamaican reggae legend Ernie Smith do their father proud with their vocal prowess and electrifying stage presence.

In addition to The Resolvers signature vocals, Awake David features the mighty Hamsa Horn Section to great effect.  Utilizing their full 3-piece horn section gives the track a lush and full soundscape, you not only hear the song, but you feel it too! The stellar drum and bass section is given a minute to shine with a breakdown and build-up that includes wailing guitar lines.  This is real reggae music.  This is roots-rock reggae music.

Awake David is the first in a series of new singles from The Resolvers in the coming months.  Mixed by Dean Fishbeck of 7 Hills Studios and Mastered by Lion and Fox Studios for that authentic reggae sound.  Stay tuned for the “Awake David Music Video” that will drop the week after release. If you are ready, The Resolvers have All The Lovin' you need! Summer love was sprouting and growing the past few months, now its getting serious.  South Florida's big band reggae sensation The Resolvers are back with a new single that fuses Lovers Rock with Reggae-Soul to create a unique reggae love song that will touch your heart and move your feet. This one is all about the love, so embrace it and welcome more love into your life today.

On lead vocals this time around is O'Jay Smith, son of legendary Jamaican singer Ernie Smith.  And that unique style of Lovers Rock from Jamaica can be heard on All The Lovin' clearly.  With additional backing vocals by Sahara Smith, lush horn lines and crisp percussion throughout, this is a tune to grab your partner and head to the dancefloor, its time to bubble and wine to the bassline.  

The Resolvers have been busy since they released Awake David at the beginning of the summer.  They have filmed a full slate of Sugarshack Sessions videos which will be released soon.  The band also appeared on numerous podcasts and online shows like the 561 Music Podcast.  The Resolvers received glowing praise from music lovers and DJs around the world, and were even featured on radio shows in Australia, Greece, Germany, Spain, Italy and others.  

All The Lovin' is the second in a series of new singles from The Resolvers this year.  Mixed by Dean Fishbeck of 7 Hills Studios and Mastered by Lion and Fox Studios for that authentic reggae sound.  The incredibly talented Chance Rajkowski of Second Mile Media produced the All The Lovin' Music Video which is dropping one week after the single is released.

Hot off the heels of their popular and trending Sugarshack Sessions video and audio releases, The Resolvers are closing out the year with another brand new, original single. Sahara Kai Smith takes center stage on This Man, a dangerously sultry reggae soul tune.

From the start Sahara commands your attention with her lush and powerful voice combined with her cool, confident vibe, so listen up!  Sahara belts out a tale of Women's empowerment, and tells you how she adores This Man. She teases a little with  “He knows where everything goes”. This is a classic reggae-soul tune, with some soul-inspired vocals, and funky horns.

In a recent TV appearance and press feature by WSVN-7 Fox Miami they said “The horn section supplies the power in this group.”, and This Man showcases this strength.  The so-called “Hamsa Horn Section” keeps the whole track on pace, and then finishes strong with a Devon Heinrichs solo on saxophone.
This Man is the third in a series of new singles from The Resolvers this year. Mixed by Dean Fishback of 7 Hills Studios and Mastered by Lion and Fox Studios for that deep, authentic reggae sound. The Resolvers are currently planning Tour Dates for 2023 and working on new music, stay tuned.

The Resolvers define "Big Band Reggae" by combining classic Jamaican roots and lively New Orleans stylings. Siblings Ojay and Sahara Smith (son and daughter of international reggae artist Ernie Smith) exchange lead vocal roles with Israeli born bandleader and guitarist Ron Eisner while their rock solid rhythm and bombastic horn sections set the pace. Their show has been described as "explosive" and "must see," and the band has gained the reputation as a premier live reggae act.
