Tom is arrested before he and Debbie get to dance, Debbie is left alone on the stage, confused, as Act one comes to a close.

Act two takes place 23 years later in the long dark Winter of 1999. Some of the ex-pupils of Grangebourne Secondary Modern meet up at their much loved form teacher's funeral.

After the funeral, Susan, Harry, Dick and Laura meet in the Bell, they remember their hopes and dreams from school and plans are hatched for a school reunion.

Harry convinces dick that they need to get fit before the Reunion if they are to stand any chance of pulling. They sign up to a fitness class to help sculpt the body beautiful!

Music fantastic! Hilarious from start to finish! Haven't laughed so much in years. This is a must if you want to find a new musical! - Derek Grattidge NODA President 2012/2013.
The Reunion has been written specifically to appeal to amateur groups with a well balanced cast and potential for simple staging and costuming.
The story features laugh out loud scenes and heart rending moments with songs to match. The show features 19 musical numbers, 8 of which feature the entire company and a further 8 which involve smaller groups. The songs feature a mixture of harmony parts so there is plenty for the entire ensemble to get their teeth into.
The Libretto features 6 main principal roles (3M, 3F) and 6 secondary roles (3M, 3F) plus several smaller cameo roles. All of the company numbers have opportunities for choreography and movement, either with a group of feature dancers or larger numbers if they are available.
The band consists of Drums, Bass, Piano, 2nd Keyboard, Trumpet, Trombone and Tenor Saxophone. Rehearsal and notebashing tracks are available on request.
