Playing an eclectic blend of Soul, Funk, Jazz, and Rock, The Rhythm Section is sure to make you jump up and feel the beat. Formed in 2010 out of the rhythm section of their high school jazz band, the group has since grown to include keyboards and a complete horn section. The Rhythm Section’s shows always offer fresh interpretations of classic tracks and unique concoctions of their own, certain to get you out of your seat and moving with the music. Each member is uniquely gifted on their own instrument and will dazzle you with solos well beyond their years, but the band prides itself on sticking to an in-the-pocket groove that constantly drives the music forward. Influenced by The Meters, P-Funk, and newer groups such as Soulive and Lettuce, The Rhythm Section is a fast-rising original act in the Los Angeles music scene that you can’t afford to miss.
