TRACK NOTES:

- Originally, Nico & Vinz were named "Envy" but after "Am I Wrong" blew up internationally they changed their name to Nico & Vinz. We decided to do some snooping about other celebrity name changes. Here is what we found:

- Imagine Dragons was originally a Dungeon and Dragons cover band called Puff The Music Dragon. Once the major labels got involved, they informed the guys that due to copyright issues, "Puff the Music Dragon" could no longer be used. Heartbroken by the news, the band sat around trying to "imagine" a new name. Long story short, due to lack of creativity, they're now Imagine Dragons.

- When David Guetta came to the USA in 1927, his family of hair stylists entered the gates of Elis Island. Unfortunately, at the immigration booth, no one in the Guetta family could speak english, except for little David. Here is where the story gets good. David's real name is actually Shirley. Little David told the immigration officer, "I'm here for the American Dream! I want to eat, sleep, rave, repeat! I want to be a DJ!". The guard looked at him and said, "Son. With your long hair, and unfortunate girly name, you have no chance at succeeding. They'll eat you alive with that name. I'll do you a favor. Your new name is David. Everybody likes David. Good luck with the career"

- Other Musicians who switched their name:

- Limp Bizket was originally Limp Penis (yikes)
- Miley Cyrus was Miley Syphilis (ironic, right!?)
- Wendy Williams was Will Wendy (because she actually has a penis)
- Lady Gaga was Sir Gag Me (pretty obvious)
- Taylor Swift's full name is Taylor "Pumpkin Spice Latte" Swift, but Starbucks pressed charges for defamation of character, and demanded she drop the pumpkin bit. They said she was too much of a white girl.

On a cool, crisp, October morning, Bender ventured to Hyperbits' house to start working on the new Rooftop Boys remix. Just like the recent South Park episode, the guys started out with a simple kick drum and pristinely placed hi-hats. Within 15 minutes of working, Bender looked at Hyperbits and said, "Dude, I'm hungry."

Normally Mr. Bits would insist on working for at least another hour or two before lunch, but on this particular day, he was also hungry. The boys usually rotate between a local deli and some bomb Mexican food, but on this day, Hyperbits decided to make lunch. Before heading to the kitchen, he told Bender, "Stay down here and try writing some chords. We really shouldn't waste any time."

Now, boys and girls, as you can probably tell, Hyperbits is the more mature one of the two. Bender, to phrase it lightly, is the poster child for ADHD. He may be extremely friendly, but most would argue that he should be kept on one of those leashes for children.

Our lunch wasn't anything special, Hyperbits had some left over chicken. Bender had a PB&J with the crust cut off, and a Lunchable for dessert. So why did we tell you all this? Well, Hyperbits couldn't have been in the kitchen for more than 5 minutes, but by the time he walked back down to the studio, he found Bender dancing and head-bobbing, stabbing on the keyboards like a young Ray Charles screaming, "I gottt itttt!!"

Long story short, the remix was finished by the end of the day. Nick Jonas approved within a week. Universal sent us contracts. And The Rooftop Boys signed their first major record contract.

Moral of the story, kids with ADHD can still be extremely productive, and taking an early lunch break is NEVER a bad idea!

Also, Lunchable's are still delicious. There is no reason they can't be enjoyed well into your twenties.

For those who are unaware, this track is a remake of the 1983 classic by Chaka Khan. If you don't know who Chaka Khan, do some research. She is the original funk. In the mean time, we've included a few fun facts that will help bring you up to speed

- "Ain't Nobody" was inspired by a one night stand Chaka Khan had in the bathroom of Studio 54, hence the "oh, oh oh ohhhs" in the chorus of the song. 

- It's no surprise that Chaka's nickname was The Queen of Funk, but here's what IS surprising: Chaka Khan had a love child with the Godfather of Soul, Mr. James Brown, and that love child was the founding member of Chromeo. He was later kicked out for unknown reasons. 

- While "Ain't Nobody" went #1 on Billboard, and it's royalties continue to flourish to this day, Chaka Khan's largest paycheck actually came from her infamous hair. People don't know this, but Chaka had a patent on her hairstyle. So when the 80's garnered an explosion of hair metal bands, Chaka had an even bigger explosion in her bank account. It is reported that Slash from Guns N' Roses paid upwards of 5 million dollars to use Ms. Khan signature hair style. This is all 100% true.
