Mexican label Duro welcomes Esprit Divers, the new alias of Coyu, the celebrated Catalan DJ and founder of Suara. After being published on Kompakt's Speicher X series with 'Turbulentos', the Catalan DJ returns with ‘Neophobia’, a two original EP with a tremendous remix from English producer Third Son.

“Eclecticism and diversity is something that has followed me since I started to get interest on music. This is why I have decided to split my projects and create Esprit Divers, who will be in continuous motion seeking for different sounds, based on the idea of music of contrast: light and dark, sorrow and hope, mind and soul.” Esprit Divers

The extraordinary opener is "Slow Retrogress", a cut with solid drums like an iron horse, magnetic rolling bass, an edged melody, and hallucinating vocals. The moment where the train derails and plummets down the tunnel. "Neophobia" might sound like a classic tech house groove, but as it goes along it twists and turns out of reality in a deep and mind-blowing way. The drums and bass create the never-ending mental loop, until the spell is broken by the horns of veracity accompanying the lead vocal, only to be suddenly dumped again to the loophole.

Last of all is the remix from Polymath’s Third Son, a more upbeat and playful cut. The glitchy and erroneous percussions slowly introduce you to then be greeted by a neat and cool synthesizer. Creating a majestic, heterogeneous and open atmosphere.

From the vibrant city of Barcelona, Martin Noise plunges us into his latest EP titled "Con M," released under the Mexican label, Duro Label. This EP features three captivating original tracks and two remixes, the first by the Swedish artist Elfenberg, and the second crafted by the unparalleled Roe Deers.

The odyssey begins with "Mucho Manglar," a solid, percussive, and acidic track that hooks you from the first moment. Londoner Jac The Disco returns to his co-run label Spin On This to deliver his second EP, Manglik, which comes with two original tracks as well as remix works from Eric Duncan and Juan MacLean. The latter has recently had EPs on Jennifer Cardini's Correspondant imprint and Will Saul's Aus Music, a track on the latest Motordiscs various artists compilation and is going to release a couple of well-selected remixes, one of these is his take on Jac The Disco's track Goddess, which the New Yorker turns to a divine Disco driven dance floor-designed piece. Not only driven by a lush bass line it's Juan MacLeans array of synths the smoothly implemented glitches and the reluctant Acid-sounds, the cosmic and spaced-out vibe that make his approach to the track a pleasant experience for a wild (home)floor blast. 

Jac The Disco's EP Manglik will be released on Spin On This on July 3rd, 2020.
