Saudade

O morgado  é uma forma de organização musical que cria uma linhagem, bem como uma linguagem  para designar os seus sucessores, tipos sonoros  e comportamentos musicais de um determinado período na face da terra,O Morgado  havia lançado seu EP de estreia Ser Alguém  em 2012, pela gravadora independente com Ganilton Pimentel com Ze Taveira na bateria e Raimar Safardano no baixo. No entanto, Ze Taveira saiu da banda por próprios motivos,Warley  procurava outro baterista. Durante uma caminhada nas ruas ruas de Garanhuns em frente ao parque dos eucaliptos , em 2013, Warley Pereira  se encontrou casualmente  com  o baterista Marcelo Fernandes , Warley o chamou, e falou sobre EP e das musicas , e pediu para que Marcelo Colocasse seus ritmos . Pouco Dias depois, Warley, Marcelo e  Raimar  se encontraram para ensaiar para uma apresentação no Lual 4 estações, 1 mês  seguinte realizou-se a uma apresentação do Morgado  com Marcelo   na bateria. 2 meses depois, Raimar saiu da banda por motivos  pessoal, Warley reuniu-se com Genilton Pimentel e discutiam sobre um possível baixista,  e citamos Efraim Rocha  e passou a integrar o Morgado. Genilton comentou , em primeira , que, quando Efraim e Marcelo entraram para a  Banda, o son foi incorporado 
Enquanto isso, Warley estava compondo canções novas. Na época, ele estava ouvindo bandas como Cidadão Instigado, Los Espiritus ( Banda Argentina ), Onda Vaga e Madre Deus, uma banda portuguesa.  Sentindo-se desiludido com o senário da musica   nacional  e dissonante com o tema Rock , sob a qual foi criada a imagem da banda intitulada , Warley, inspirado pelo que ouvia à época, começou a compor canções mais melódicas. Um momento chave foi o single Eterno Par , lançado em 2014 pela SubSolum (antes de Marcelo e Efraim se juntar à banda), sobre o qual Warley comentou que "era como uma característica, fundamental  de certa forma. Eu tive que compor uma canção pop e lançá-la como um single para preparar as pessoas para o próximo disco. Eu queria escrever mais canções como esta, Efraim disse que naquele momento a banda fazia a analogia de comparar sua música à música romântica bossa e rock,o grupo tentou fazer suas canções de um modo mais simples possível.

 Marcelo Fernandes observou em 2014 que a banda já estava nervosa por gravar um álbum mais dinâmico e alternativo  ,e o produtor sugeri-o o mesmo, A banda entrou em processo de criação , com quem se sentiam confortáveis para trabalhar, o Morgado  gravou o The Roots Of Morgado, no SubsolunStudio   em Garanhuns , em  Pernambuco (BR),

O álbum contem 8 Faixas, A banda inicialmente iria gravar o álbum entre março e abril de 2014 , mas a data das gravações foi adiada diversas vezes, apesar da ânsia da banda para começar as sessões.  o Morgado  fez um concerto em que tocaram  pela primeira vez Photographic Song. A banda foi apresentar-se durante o período do FIG ( circuito do frio de PE)   alguns Cds  dos ensaios feitos antes das apresentações e  da gravação, que contavam com músicas gravadas anteriormente no estúdio , juntamente com novas faixas, incluindo -Cemitério dos Pássaros   e  -0 Bombaim.
