The Roustabouts were thrilled to be part of the incredible Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekender and perform for four unforgettable nights in Las Vegas. Sublime Boudoir created a different, awe-inspiring, atmospheric environment every evening and we concocted a vastly different set to compliment each night's theme.

As a thank you to the wonderful crowd who attended, and in response to their heart-warming feedback and requests for a recording, we've created two half-hour souvenir mixes! 

The first is a modern summer pop mashup mix filled to the gills with fun guilty pleasures and the other is a more vintage affair, remixing classic dusty old records into something new!

Sublime Boudoir BHOF Las Vegas -2- Remixed Vintage Beats & Feats

Here's a mix that showcases some of The Roustabouts dirtier habits. A world away from our usual Electro-swing and Balkan Beats sets, these represent things we don't often have the chance to do in polite company.

The set starts off with some rip-roaring dubstep that should put any battle hardened fax machine to shame, but, if bleeps, bloops and wubwubs doodahs aren't your cup of tea then don't worry. Later on in the mix you'll be able to get into the Electro and tongue-firmly-in-cheek Mashups of familiar tunes.

​As true music lovers, we have a vast and varied repertoire, from Balkan Beats to Electro Swing. We often play sets full of vintage sounds and exotic culture, but we are also most definitely down with the kids!

Our mash-up sets have been tearing their way through the London club scene, mixing 80s classics with modern pop, 70s funk with tongue-in-cheek rap. 

Here is a rough recording of when The Roustabouts mashed Rihanna's catchy Disturbia up with Depeche Mode's John The Revelator, and sprinkled in a little of Far East Movement's G6 for good measure. ​

The duo's eclectic collection includes, but is not limited to, balkan beats, electro swing, classic and modern cabaret and even the odd grin inducing mash-up. Their assortment of awesome audio oddities is diverse enough to not only compliment, but become the catalyst to an unforgettable event.
