Ground breaking melodies, exquisite sounds, powerfull bass lines, and an his unpredictable technoque define the Dj/producer J. Cossio A.K.A. "TheScient". Born and raised in Hermosillo, Sonora on a 22nd of October. He starts his musical trajectory at the local electronic scene in 2006 spinning house and progressive house at several places and afterhours in Hermosillo. In 2008 he travels to Toronto Canada where he found his musical style and technique. He had shared decks with: Adam K, Sidney Blue, Manzone & strong, Mark Oliver, Manstrong, John Digweed, and many local talents from his hometown as well as track collaborations with artists over seas. Over the past 13 years he had been experimenting with different genres  from house to techno and everything in between. TheScient had been acumulating milage on top notch canadian and US clubs such as Circa, Vagabondo, The guvernment kool haus, Club opera, Circus Afterhours, Footworks at various locations: Toronto, Halifax, Montreal, Electric Island, NY, New Jersey Vancouver. His unique style of switching and tweaking his own tracks and stems into a unique non repetitive experience. " I've always like to try things out of the ordinary. I love to experiment with new technologies. 

"As a kid I was surrounded by this deep musical influence and I was fascinated what computers could do and the first time I heard techno around 1992 it sounded like music from the future so that wrapped my curiosity" For me the right way and rules of making electronic music is that it isn't any.

Nacido y criado en Hermosillo, Sonora un 22 de octubre. Comienza su trayectoria musical en la escena electrónica local en 2006 con mezclando house y progresivo en varios locales y afterhours de Hermosillo. En 2008 viaja a Toronto Canadá donde encuentra su estilo y técnica musical. Donde compartido escenarios con: Adam K, Sidney Blue, Manzone & strong, Mark Oliver, Manstrong, John Digweed y muchos talentos locales de su ciudad natal, así como colaboraciones en pistas con artistas en el extranjero. Durante los últimos 13 años había estado experimentando con diferentes espectros dentro del amplio género Techno y sus derivados. TheScient ha estaso acumulado kilometraje en clubes canadienses y estadounidenses de primer nivel como Circa, Vagabondo, The guvernment kool haus, Club opera, Circus Afterhours, Footworks en varios lugares: Toronto, Halifax, Montreal, Electric Island, NY, New Jersey Vancouver. Su estilo único de cambiar y desglosar sus propias pistas y sonidos creando una experiencia única no repetitiva. "Siempre me ha gustado probar cosas fuera de lo común. Me encanta experimentar con nuevas tecnologías. "Cuando era niño estaba rodeado por esta profunda influencia musical y estaba fascinado con lo que podían hacer las computadoras. La primera vez que escuché techno alrededor de 1992 sonaba como música del futuro, así que envolvió mi curiosidad. Lo que mas amo de hacer música electrónica es que no hay reglas, caminos, lineamientos o reglas."
