Great textures in this song. Starts with a real interesting blend of bowed strings, guitar & subtle synth horn/ cello? Very mellow feel with most of the rhythm provided by the stringed instruments. Nice mid-range melody is driven by the 'bowed strings'. It is very well produced with excellent recording quality. It truly sounds like "dawn". Wonderful.

By the second listen, this song had me crying. The history of Arras comes through with the sounds of shooting from the very beginning, and you captured the sadness of war in it very well, as the dawn rises over the battlefield and the bodies are visible. The gunning gently morphs into the sound of trains. The sense of extended time and space with this war and its aftermath and effects is really effective. The song is beautiful and deeply moving, with layers of emotion affecting on a subconscious level. Bravo!

We really tried a more modern approach to breaks and synth pop, and tried to keep a bit of the progressive nature that is OnA... As a producer, I was really taken with Amy's cadence in her vocals and hope I captured her ability to really drive the song forward lyrically.
