Brendan Newcomb and I (Jeff Bettger) Interview Nick Toti of Interesting Productions. We wanted to know why he chose to make his film production company a non-profit, and how that affects his art. I first met Nick when he pitched the idea of doing and avante-garde documentary of a band I was in called  "Raft of Dead Monkeys". As of the time of this podcast the film has yet to come out, however I have seen a rough cut and look forward to hearing what others think about it when it is released. The title is "The complete history of Seattle", and should be available this spring or summer. TA2 Nick Toti

Colin Day cut his teeth in the east coast hardcore scene of the 90's as a maker of zines and photographer. He moved to the west coast started a family and made a career out of making stuff. He's worked for Digital Kitchen, also as a freelance designer/project manager, gave it all up for a time to work at a church and now is working for Tether in Seattle. Colin tells us about the tension of DIY type creativity and that of discovering what's already there. It get's a bit mystical or metaphysical at times. I hope you enjoy as Colin and Jeff get into it.
