The Shed released their first EP "What are you Listening to Lately?" in September 2007 and followed up with a self-titled debut album in December of that year. Since then they've garnered quite a following in their hometown and beyond and were voted Cork's Best New Band of 2007 in a joint Red FM/Evening Echo poll.

The Shed release third album 'Stealing Away' 
April 24th 2015

Cork City, Ireland, April  2015:
 'Stealing Away' has ten tracks from The Shed
including the single 'Wrecking Ball' described by renowned RTE Radio1
DJ John Creedon as 'one of his favourite tracks of the year'.

Recorded over two years, the album started at
Data Recording Studios in Ballyheigue, Co. Kerry 
and was completed at the band’s own recording space 
in Outlaw studios by producer Tim Garrad. 

The album was mastered by Brian Lucey 
(Arctic Monkeys, Black Keys) at Grammy Award 
winning Magic Garden Mastering in Los  Angeles.

The Shed write and rehearse in Outlaw Studios on the city's
docklands. 
The striking cover art is
by prominent Outlaw artist Suzy O'Mullane.

The Shed launch their new album in Cork's Crane Lane Theatre
April 24th 2015.
