The Shelter People, name courtesy from the late Leon Russell, are an American rock band formed in Tulsa, OK in 2016. The group consists of guitarist/vocalist Dakota Hurley, bassist Garon Burch, and drummer Justin Mathais. Their style draws mostly from the blues rock bands of the late 60s and early 70s.
