As a tribute to the late greats D'Angelo and Roberta Flack, I had the idea of mixing D'Angelo vocals and drums from his amazing Roberta Flack cover of 'Feel Like Makin' Love' with the stems of my Roberta Flack revision of the same song which includes an incredible unreleased orchestral section (check it here: https://on.soundcloud.com/k6AfLZ4gRCsORthUj2 ) into a version combining both. If you have listened to any of my Gospel House Mixes over the years I'm sure you've heard me explain how my late Grandmother would take me to church as a kid and just how much I loved the music and the choir in particular. As a DJ I still seem to be drawn to that same Gospel Choir sound be it a sample or live recording I still love all of those incredible voices singing in unison. Mississippi Mass Choir has been one of my fav's for a long time, "When I Rose This Morning" was how I was introduced to them but I've since fallen in love with many of their songs. But "I'm Not Tired Yet" takes me to another place all together. The lead singer Ms. Mosie Burks voice along with her passionate testimony "grabs me" every single time. I started out just to make a short danceable interpretation just for myself but I shared a small clip on IG and a few DJ's I really respect wanted in on this Edit as well. So I hope you guys enjoy...  \o/
