The Silver Threads play classic country music, mostly from the 50s and 60s.

We play regular shows on Nashville's Lower Broad, including weekly residences at Robert's Western World and Layla's Bluegrass Inn. We released our first, self-titled, album in December 2010.

The band was formed in 2009 by singer-songwriter Eileen Rose, and guitarist/pedal steel player Rich Gilbert (Frank Black, Wanda Jackson). Other band members include Johnnie Barber, who previously played drums with Johnny Paycheck and Merle Haggard, Nate Stalfa (Knock Down Society, Caitlin Cary & Thad Cockrell), upright bass players Slick Joe Fick (Travis Mann Band) and Zachary Shedd (Hank Williams III) and, on fiddle, Joshua Hedley from Justin Townes Earle's band.
