What the Czech black metal scene may lack in quantity, it certainly makes up for it in the quality of bands, and newcomer Triumph, Genus is no different in this regard. A duo of multi-instrumentalist/songwriter Svar and vocalist/lyricist Jaroslav, now Triumph, Genus present their full-length debut, Všehorovnost je porážkou převyšujících, to be released on CD by W.T.C. Productions & on vinyl LP by Iron Bonehead Productions. A fully realized work, Všehorovnost je porážkou převyšujících honors the ancient darkness of early '90s black metal, but equally in the East and South as it was in the North. Its seven time-defying/warping compositions pulse with grimness and boundless darkness, deftly winding their way through myriad abysses; the rich, full-bodied recording amplifies the multi-hued obsidian on which each song is built. As such, Triumph, Genus explore all facets of the occult, and are in no way a political band. Its maw open wide, Všehorovnost je porážkou převyšujících is a portal to the beyond...will you enter?

In December 1994 in Rosenheim, Germany, Lunar Aurora was formed by Aran and Whyrhd. In 1995 they recorded the first Demo: "A Wandering Winterdream Beneath the Cold Moon".

 Only one year later "Auf dunklen Schwingen" was released, another Demo. After that Voices Productions signed the band and in 1996 Lunar Aurora recorded their first official album, which was called "Weltengänger". With the albums "Ars Moriendi", "Elixir of Sorrow", "Zyklus" and "Mond", this band from Rosenheim established their status as one of the most visionary, unique and important projects in the German metal-scene

Drowning the Light - The Cult of Shadows

There are many ways by which a Split album may be crafted and created. Despite of all possible reasons and causes, in order to create a successful split album an awakened state and sense of coherency between the involved bands should be established. But how does this coherency and common ground work within the parameters of this particular split?

First of all, the Blackened death metal band Putrid, became in only mere 10 years of existence, one of the most prolific and constant bands in the local Peruvian scene. With a number of demos, splits and 2 full length albums they have been growing and maturing from playing some sort of Blackened Death/thrash metal into their current incarnation which is a very agile, consistent and forceful take of death metal influenced by the stamina of Angelcorpse, Abhorrence and the foul aggression of the veterans Slayer. Here, on this split album, they have continued with their onslaught already established by their previous album “Antichrist Above”. The outburst of violence presented as their side of this split could be taken as an appendix of that album.

As for the side of Grave Desecration, being formed more than 20 years ago and with a modest number of releases, they have shown that working at a slower pace may be more effective for their Virulent take of Black Death metal with reminiscences of Black Witchery, older Impaled Nazarene, Sarcofago and basically every minimalistic band focused on relentless sonic aggression. The three tracks recorded for this particular split album resume very well what they have doing for a number of years and what can be done without distancing from the basic pillars of Bestial Black War Metal.

So, there you have the connection: both bands differ in form and method, but both share the same purpose; they offer explosive exercises of musical intensity mixed with their raw take of antichristianity and the adoration of the Dark Lord as standard of War against the Abrahamic dogma.
