Bøngvr @bongvr is an adherent of ritualistic hypnotic intensity and transgressive sound patters. He is a resident of Sacred Sound and a founder of Thesis @thesisseries, Tbilisi based events with a deep focus on hypnotic, transgressive cross-genre electronic music. His releases have come out on BAHN Records, Inphase, West Rules.

Inspired by modern post-industrial and heavy techno, the artist strives to draw their own conclusions from the ideas of these genres and to find the musical language, capable to represent the tragedy and shining of the present day.

The alias 04reference is a quiet act of self-definition — a personal timestamp tied to her birthdate, April 4, yet detached from gender, trends, or scenes. It speaks to an identity shaped not by labels, but by emotion and lived experience.

Her recent debut EP “Kinda Deejay” captures this ethos — raw, reflective, and charged with the tension between solitude and shared experience. Red Room Sessions continues that thread: a refusal to conform, a commitment to the underground, and an invitation to feel rather than follow.

Having no gender or cultural context and reflecting only unique experiences, the nickname refers to the date of birth, April 4, making it more personal. Experimenting with different genres, her selection extends from hard trance to minimal, acid house, and bass; however, techno is her main passion. Sets often include elements of tribal, hypnotic, and groovy sounds.

Metaphysical practices

Thesis is an event series with a deep focus on transgressive cross-genre repetitive electronic music. 

The purpose of Thesis is creation of a space for inner explorations through common ritual practices such as dance, thus setting wormhole of mental infusions which lead to the newer, freer version of self.
