In 2007, 19 yo Robert Hawkins walked into a Nebraska shopping mall with a semi-automatic rifle and shot 8 people dead before taking his own life.

Robert was a deeply troubled young man with a long history of violent mental illness.   He was a wounded beast who cruelly hunted his own beasts of prey in the last moments of his life -- prey that until targeted for murder had lived very human lives.  

This incident was yet another senseless tragedy made possible by guns falling in to the wrong hands at the wrong times.  This song is dedicated to the 8 victims who lost their lives, others who were injured during the incident, and the entire community who suffers to this day:
