In the lead up to 10th December, we have a special RAVE mix prepared by Ejeca ahead of his performance for FABRICLIVE as part of our Keep Hush x Wavey Garms x EQ50 event. 

"I’ve always had a passion for hardcore & rave music and earlier this year decided to create a mixtape of all original material I made throughout lockdown inspired by the early rave tapes. It seemed to go down really well and the lovely people at Fabric are allowing me to do my first rave set in London! In this mix you’ll find some of my favourite tracks such as DJ Pooch, Orca and N.R.G. mixed with some of my mixtape I made. Dress to sweat for this one." - EJECA

After a jam-packed club debut this summer, we’re inviting underground collective Keep Hush back for another huge room takeover. This time alongside pioneering female-led drum & bass collective EQ50 and one of London’s leading fashion & culture brands, Wavey Garms.

EQ50, co-run by Flight, Chickaboo, Sweetpea and our resident Mantra, are paving the way for fairer representation of women in d&b. Run by women, for women, EQ50 specialise in mentorship workshops redressing gender imbalance in the genre, and the industry more broadly. By no means their first event with us – expect an all-female room takeover pushing some of the genre’s more foremost up-and-coming talent.

If you don’t know Wavey Garms, get to know. They’ve been well on our radar, not least after hosting London Unlocked with Fabio, Grooverider, Oneman & bluetoof back in March. Expect a forward-thinking room billing crossing a variety of UK sounds.

It is a wonder it has taken us this long to get Tom Trago involved in our series. The Dutchman has been a pillar of the Amsterdam scene for years, either as a producer for Rush Hour and a veteran of no fewer than three artist albums, or as a resident at places like the sorely missed Trouw. He also runs his own Voyage Direct label, has worked with everyone form Aardvark to Bok Bok and, of course, played our festival once again this past weekend. Trago’s sound--in both the booth and the studio--is a colourfully eclectic mix of disco and afro, hip hop and jazz, as well as house, techno and electro, and it as charming as the man himself. 

His two hour session for us is a perfectly soothing selection to get you back into the groove after a full on weekend at the festival. From horizontal ambient and deeply seductive house, the mix stays pretty spaced out and lazy for the first hour, before more driving drums and pumping chords colour the second half. Always warm, human and inviting, it is a suitably personable mix from one of house music’s nice guys.
