At the start of 2016 the act originally knows as Brodanse changed their name to Austen/Scott in order to reflect the natural evolution of their music productions. The new incarnation saw their debut release on Joris Voorn’s Rejected imprint, a remix of Reset Robot and their first show under the new name at Fabric, London.

Now the brothers and label bosses Austen and Scott Smart step forward to put out 'Space Taxi’ - their first EP on Danse Club - which consists of four tracks (two vinyl only).

It’s all house and techno.

Over the last several months we have been very much studio bound, both completing our debut album (coming out in November) and developing a way in which we can perform it in live situations (without playing fully live) due to our lack of satisfaction with traditional ‘one on/one off’ DJ sets. What we came up with was a HYBRID of both DJ and Live performance.

Here is the kit we are using:
