I came late to the Smiths catalog this was the first album that I ever bought our CD but I'm sure I've heard them and just didn't recognize them in the past on the local radio station KROQ Rock of the '80s 

only the fruity or homophobic wnjoy the smiths

favourite band of all time and was fortunate enough to love them from near the beginning

In November of 1979, Hammond Jr’s mother, Claudia, miscarried. Although they rushed to the hospital, Claudia and Albert Hammond Sr. were told that the baby was far too premature to live. Albert continued to grow inside of his mother undetected until she was nearly six months pregnant.
