Yeah, that's the problem, that you have different narrative post-factum and the culprits, that done those atrocities are long dead and their job is done, and all those condemnations of the past led to almost nothing. The US government is probably bet's to have the same outcome - is to admin the atrocieties atrocities when the damages is already done and spoils of war already shared among those who benefit it and o course marked as hole private property.
