I'm excited about the book, and I've ordered a copy. But I have one complaint about today's program. At 32:20 in the program, Dr. Dean said "If we had an adequate, real healthcare system, everyone would have their healthcare needs met absolutely for free."  WE NEED TO STOP USING THE WORD "FREE." That word sets off alarms in the brains of anti-socialists, and justifiably so: We all know that nothing can ever actually be "free." For instance, the doctors and nurses need homes and food, so they need to be paid too.  Unfortunately, I can't think of a single word, or even a brief phrase, that can replace the word "free." It requires an entire discussion of the many ways that socialized medicine would be better (cheaper, more efficient, more ethical, higher quality, etc.) than capitalist medicine.  Maybe you can think of a way to make the discussion shorter.
