Curtis James Jones was born in Coalgate, Oklahoma on May 13, 1938. He was a loving and devoted husband; dad to 13 children; grandpa to many more; and a dear, cherished friend to all who knew him. He spoke of Jesus, planted seeds, and was given dozens of songs and poems along the way. “I didn’t write them; they came to me,” he’d always say. He was called home to Jesus and his family in the Lord who preceded him on March 11, 2022 in Los Angeles, California. He came and went on a Friday after telling and texting many of his family and friends to “Have a happy forever. Jesus is coming soon and He tells us to look up and rejoice for our redemption draws near.”
