Intro

A soft and clear voice, combined with solid grooves and jazzy improvisations give a very peculiar and energetic sound to the band. the members of the band are great fans of Brad Mehldau And Mark Guiliana, Joshua Redman Elastic Band, Robert Glasper And Esbjorn Svensson... 
The Soul Mutation blend these new jazz trends with an European sensitivity and an Italian attitude for melody. after working together for a couple of years, in 2015 they released their first cd (named after the band) as independent artists. 
Iin this album they recorded covers by Joni Mitchell, the Beatles, Cole Porter re-arranged with the style of the group and some original songs, written by Francesco Chebat and Martha (music and lyrics respectively).
The Soul Mutation has a personal sound, full of groove, refined and complex but still very accessible to listeners, and they can always reach the public with their energy and passion.
