Nayra: Where Are You Now (Hey Hey) [The Sound Of Everything]

AGATHA is a new alternative pop artist appearing in the musical scene of Athens, at the dawn of 2015. Her debut EP, First Light, is out on February 17th by The Sound of Everything. 
In that first EP, Agathi Keziou –who is both the composer and the singer– experiments with acoustic guitars, ambient theremins, cello, piano and other musical instruments. In her compositions there are evident influences by Hatzidakis and Loizos (Greek composers), the electro-pop music of the 80’s, the indie and trip-hop music of the 90’s, (i.e. Massive Attack, Portishead, Morcheeba), and the sounds of Puressence, Coldplay, and Madrugada. 
AGATHA’s fellow travelers in First Light are: Greggy K (executive producer) and Ren (assistant producer)—from the band Echo Train—Marianna Avouri and Fenia (lyrics), and George Lathyris and Patty Alexiadi (art direction).

Our latest addition to our alternative/indie roster is a talented songwriter and performer from Greece called DUSK (Avgi Platanidi). With her attention focused on strong melodies, meaningful words and minimal arrangements, she doesn’t follow the current musical trends but simply tells her story. To put it in her own words: “Music has been my personal journal for every memorable moment of my life since I can remember myself, either as a listener, or as a songwriter…”
DUSK has been influenced and inspired by the enchanting sounds  of Dead Can Dance and Enya , the melodic creations of Greek composers, such as Yannis Markopoulos and the mesmerizing songs of Radiohead, Puressence, Pj Harvey and Tori Amos.  This is the first single from her upcoming album. Albert Planck & Prins George have given their own electronic interpretation of the song, maintaining the minimal feeling of the original.

COMPANY OVERVIEW
The Sound Of Everything is a record label, which aims at covering the whole spectrum of contemporary sounds, regardless of genre. It was founded in 2004 and after a number of versatile releases, ranging from club oriented electronic music to alternative and indie pop music, we feel that that we have managed to turn the lack of a particular identity in our sound into a form of identity itself. Representing a wide range of music genres has now become our trademark!

Exploring 'all sounds', or in other words, exploring 'the sound of everything' is our mission!
LOGO
Pigeonholing music in styles and genres has never been a harder task. In fact it tends to become a meaningless task. Elements of jazz, funk, soul, rock or pop music can be found in most of the dance records produced within the last decade. The interaction between musical genres has been so strong that the fusion of different styles is now a common practice for both composers and performers. This creation of musical crossroads is expressed by our logo. Musical pathways can be parallel or they can intersect each other to give birth to new styles and new sounds.
