All sounds are TSOM originals. Except: Flutish Organ and the 10CC Choir Pad are tweaks I did with some wonderful presets by Martijn Deluxe. The Alien Voice has been created using the Vowel/Speech wavetable in Surge's TWIST engine.

Surge XT - Utopian Mornings

My cat Shouf died a couple of years ago. A dear friend of mine lost his cat this weekend and this brought back many wonderful memories of our mysterious, friendly and wise cat Shouf.

This track has been made using 11 instances of Voltage Modular in which I only used free modules from VM Nucleus, R_Ware x Airwindows and Haaschen bij haslo. My DAW has been Cubase Pro 12.
Third Party free VST FX: SuperMassive, Panagement by Auburn, Wider by Polyverse, LaLA by Analog Obsession and a wonderful new freebie by Amalgamated Signals named Clean Machine which I can recommend to everyone to beef up their mixes (compression, limiter and saturation)

Voltage Modular Nucleus - Shouf's Travels

This legendary semi-modular synthesiser by Korg has been immortalised in software by Cherry Audio. The instrument excels with its unmistakable characterful sound and its three fully independent polyphonic units. It was a pleasure to work on this preset bank for several weeks. As I think of my 14-year-old daughter, I go back to my own childhood. To my dusty, dimly lit room where I had a small synthesiser and an echo machine on some sort of an altar. I go back to my hopes and fears, my expectations, my goals, my beliefs and my love for music. Often too little time to make my own music because I couldn't stop listening to Bach, TD, Klaus Schulze, Jarre, Vangelis, Pink Floyd and Todd Rundgren.

I recognise so much in her. My beautiful 14-year-old daughter with all her hopes and fears and her love for music.
