The Journey - Under The Lamp

It's been a long time coming... but we are just as excited to share this with you now, as we were when it happened.

Back in March, headlining our first event back after a year on pause, Gabriel Moraes went Under The Lamp to a sold out audience.

Raring and full of energy, every person on that dancefloor contributed to what was such an incredible night!

The Mid Week Mix is a series that we started during lockdown 1.0 as an opportunity to share on a weekly bases - mixes that resonate with the sound of our events. Something to break up the week and get you grooving toward the weekend.

With Under The Lamp back up and running this year, we want to continue the Mid Week Mix - each time bringing you a live recording of the performances experienced at each one of our events.

This week's Mid Week Mix comes from our very own residents, The Regulators. 

Always a crowd favourite, The Regulators' sets combine melodic techno, progressive house, grungy baselines and dance floor classics - all whipped up into the perfect late night storm. 

This particular recording comes from their most set at The Journey - Under The Lamp and gives a great insight into the kind of music you can expect when we return to Loop Project Space and Bar on July 24 for Doshpot - Under The Lamp.

INNATE joins Arteq for the 53rd Arteq podcast, and it's just how we like it.

INNATE aka Nethaniel Rochester, co-founder of The Sound Project, and 1/2 of the up-and-coming, talented duo The Regulators, decides to venture out solo under a new alias, and we are honoured to showcase his first published mix.

The mix involves a bunch of beautiful melodic, indie and techno music, seamlessly weaved together. The 106 minute journey is exactly that, with an organised chaos that rings of professionalism.

In December last year, I played at Fluid In Motion at Killing Time on the closing slot.

It was fun jumping on at 113bpm and building from there.

I had a really great time thanks to everyone there and during the last track the set got extended for an extra halfa until lock up, which made it even more fun! Thank you to Matthew for having me on board.

A cracker of a party! 🙃😅

On December 30th, we played at My Aeon for Techno vs Psytrance. 

We had a great time and it was fun to setup for the psytrance lineup to follow our set. 

Thank you to everyone that came along for such a great night and props to Lawrence and Joel for running the show. You’ve got a sick thing going with this series.

Thank you @bush-techno and everyone involved for the mammoth effort of making this renegade happen on such short notice. Incredible!

It's gutting what happened to @esotericfestival and this renegade shows that you can't stop the people and their need to dance in the dust. 

We opened up the dancefloor on Saturday and had a blast! This is a re-recording of our set because our recorder was flat haha.
