The Stolen Moans are a female fronted, DIY, indie rock trio, from CA. Their new single, "Our Song" is the beguiling sound of reckless, adrenalized Rock 'n' Roll. Breaking through the testosterone, the band turn classic rock templates on their ear with a modern feminist anthem.

This scene describes how David predicted that one day the world would come looking for Death's music and he would not be around to see it.
We were nominated for best original score in a documentary feature at the 2014 Cinema Eye Honors Awards.

David's Prediction

This was a fun piece to create, this cue goes with a montage in the film showing Motown in its Detroit heyday. Tried to make the piece as authentic as possible, using a sample from a Motown drummers sample CD to set the groove.
We were nominated for best original score in a documentary feature at the 2014 Cinema Eye Honors Awards.

Bad Guy is a huge pop hit and Billie Eilish has become a cultural phenomenon but the song is laid upon a classic three chord foundation. The genius of this simplicity inspired us to create a loving but high-decibel tribute. 

Essentially recorded live to capture some old school intensity we think fans of the original will love our Rock & Roll interpretation. While we stay true to the original we've also brought our Stolen Moans flavor to the mix with a surprise ending.
