A powerful, heavy beat smacks with emotion as emcees Roc Walla and Pronto wade through an uncharted ocean of similar personal family tragedies. The song takes focus on the effects made when the inevitable ‘falling of the mask’ moment occurs after battling the three A’s (addiction, anxiety and alcoholism) for so long behind closed doors.

The first single from Milk & Bread, titled “Middle of a Riot” is a
tongue in cheek song that paints/reflects our modern day
‘keyboard warriors’. In fact it hammers them. Being self centred and ignorant are two symptoms of the privileged first-world lifestyle.

The song takes our first world problems, and jams along to them in such positive fashion that it’s like the Western World throwing a summer festival for its own funeral, under the magnifying glass of global warming.

Guess what!? The Stoops are back! It has been 6 years since our last track, Middle of a Riot, and while all has seemed quiet on the Western Front, the arsenal of tracks we've got ready to drop would suggest otherwise. So get ready, we're about to peel the poster back from our own Andy Dufresne tunnel.

We are a 3-piece outfit from Perth, WA, who have been making golden era inspired hip hop for going on 15 years. We comprise of three core members; DJ - Arms In Motion and emcees -Roc Walla and Pronto. We've spent the majority of the last few years tweaking and evolving our soul- fuelled signature sound in preparation for what could now be almost regarded as a Debut release (although it is our third). “Boom Cycle”, is an entirely self produced album which we are beyond excited to finally reveal to you.

First off the ranks was “Middle of a Riot”. The tongue in cheek song that did so well for us. This was very much the taster for what we were aiming to achieve with the album, both from a production and topical content point of view.

Now we are finally ready to release the first of a small run of singles before releasing the album later this year. First off the ranks is "If I Had a Kid", due to be released Feb 28th, 2020.

We have been performing for over 10 years and have supported a number of world-class musicians including Mac Miller, Jurassic 5, Pete Rock, Kurtis Blow and Loop Troop, Thundamentals and Illy.
