In this mix I brought in a lot of my favorite R&B remixes by some of my favorite house music producers. ❤️ Not only do I love this combination soooo much but I feel it’s a beautiful way to introduce people who may not be as familiar with soulful house or its producers to get used to and ‘fall in love’ with the sound, as I have. 

So if you hear a song that touches you and you have never heard of the producer I strongly encourage you to look them up and the rest of their music. You will not be disappointed. ❤️

New York native, Merlin Bobb joins the show today. The celebrated DJ & producer and music executive has been helping shape the house and dance music scene ever since his days at WBLS, Atlantic and Elektra Records. He's contributed to several careers such as Frankie Knuckles, Kerri Chandler, Tony Humphries, DJ Spinna & Roger Sanchez to name only a few. Also one of the co-founders of the legendary Shelter nightclub in 1991.

In recent years Merlin has shifted his passion back to production and has been hard at work in the studio releasing music on 201 Records, Quantize Recordings, and this weeks new release on Mark Francis’ Access Records. ‘Ain’t It Nice’ is a soulful collab with Masaki Morii and is out now exclusively at Traxsource.
