The original of 'Nu World' is a rousing single designed to sweep dancers off their feet. In Solomun's hands, it becomes one of his signature melodic masterpieces. The Diynamic label founder is one of dance music's most globally recognised stars. He has been immortalised in the legendary Grand Theft Auto video game, holds his own influential residency at Pacha in Ibiza and is on a near constant tour of the world's biggest clubs and festivals where he leads the house scene from the front. 

His seven minute rework of 'Nu World' is a typically emotive house track with yearning vocal samples immediately pulling you in. The fresh drums are underpinned by warm, rumbling bass, and the searching synth craft is expansive. When the classic piano chords come in mid-way through, hands will go skyward and the dance floor will be united as one. 

This is a remix that brings heartfelt joy and rousing house grooves.

Emerging mysteriously over the horizon, a new satellite surfaces with Freedo Mosho's sultry Edit of Paul (AR) & Anunnakis' collaborative single, Ancient Moon. Originally released on Selador as a part of The Selador Showcase - The Seventeenth Instalment, the hypnotic dancefloor roller sheds over to a dusky shade under the sonic guidance of the Argentine maestro.

Riding slick, Freedo Mosho's take on Ancient Moon builds patiently in the shadows as it rolls over the back of a delectable percussive line and an irresistible stabbed bassline. Moving with aplomb, FM takes us deep inside a heady and hazy picture where the midnight fog rises, providing a dense and lush backdrop before revealing a time-stopping breakdown where the ancient secrets blossom in a tantalizing manner as they come together for a rousing second act, drifting into the new night with each passing beat.

From the Macedonian city of Serres in northern Greece, Simos Tagias has created a colourful musical history full of progressive house flair and melodic beauty. Returning to Meanwhile for a third original EP, the Greek artist dazzles with “Skyline / A Memory”.

Over the course of more than 400 production credits, Simos Tagias has continued to flourish, carving out a unique niche within the progressive house fraternity as his reputation and passion to his craft continue to produce a rich seam of valuable underground dance music. After a debut on Lynx Records in late 2012, Simos has gone on to feature on a plethora of high-profile imprints with a portfolio of original and remix material on the likes of Juicebox Music, Proton Music and Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat Music.

March 2021 saw a Meanwhile debut in the shape of the twin-track “Euphoria / Emotion”, before a second original EP in February 2023 found “Archaios / Geometric” taking centre stage. Remixes for Imran Khan and Alex O’Rion have been further notable highlights as Simos Tagias now return to the GMJ & Matter led label with a third original offering and the “Skyline / A Memory” EP.

Propelled powerfully forward with an unrelenting kick and smooth percussive groove, “Skyline” immediately hypnotises with ticking hats and subtly melodious woodblock phrasing. A sub-bassline enters the fray to add cavernous dancefloor depth, while delay-infused synth sequences meander atop the rhythm section. A sublime arpeggio enters the fray at the mid-point alongside a canopy of white-noise washes and textured pads before the track erupts into its third movement with full-bodied dancefloor character. An immaculate balance of rhythm and melody transpires throughout the second half as filtered phrasing makes “Skyline” an essential club offering.

A chunky bass sequence and heavy kick provide a strong and mesmerising opening to “A Memory”. A brooding, seething club monster, refined melodic passages and intelligent chord progressions create a fizzing and emotive energy that continues to build across the 7-minute track. As new counterpoint layers are introduced, the track’s multi-faceted nature continues to delicately expose itself like newly discovered memory fragments until the whole picture is revealed at the breakdown and into a satisfying denouement. The result is yet another classy work.

Rising once more to the upper echelons of the progressive house scene, Simos Tagias flies high via his “Skyline / A Memory” EP.

Opening track "Dance With Ibiza“ by Ugo Banchi with its bouncy groove is like the unison movements of a big crowd of dancers, each individual, but united through the same pulsating beat.
AFFKT’s "Ganbatte“ starts out as a gentle affair with a myriad of tiny plucks, like the dance of luminescent plankton in the dark night ocean, slowly swelling into one big wave.
"Star Wars“ by Matara is a sombre, almost dystopian track - imagine an array of out of control assembly line robots that suddenly gained consciousness and write their own compositions. Precise, effective, futuristic.
And closing off the FTTF29 is "Hypo“ by Carl Bee, a fast paced techno stomper that feels like a perfect storm.

Renowned German DJ and producer Solee is set to release his 8th artist album named "Goldglut". The album, whose title poetically translates to "golden glow," captures the ephemeral moment just after sunrise, when the sun’s first rays paint the edge of the morning clouds with a radiant hue. This imagery, evoking both warmth and subtle intensity, mirrors the rich atmosphere of Solee´s music. The 21 tracks on Goldglut represent the culmination of Solee´s artistic work over the last two years, a period of deep reflection and exploration. And there are a few little surprises on the album, such as unreleased versions like the Turmbühne mix of "Luft", which Solee produced especially for his Fusion Turmbühne opening set. But also new unreleased edits of "Tanz der Planeten", "Somnia", "Faith Healer" or a special intro version of his classic "Shanti". Each track carries his distinct style, weaving elements of deep melodic house & techno, progressive house, trance and ambient soundscapes into a cohesive and compelling journey.
