Description: Between 2006 and 2008 i (Tonic) made a few edits on a label called 'Mindless Boogie' under a few different names (Tonic, Skinny Joey, Rubber Room). The label was vinyl only, so the tracks are pretty hard to find by now. It's a shame to let them go to waste, so here they are... Go and multiply!

One of my all time faves. Glad i found who made it. Masterpiece.

Drawing inspiration from nature, the song “Leafhopper” began with an audio sample of the insect whose name inspired the title. Through experimentation and improvisation, the track evolved to incorporate tropical rhythms, jazzy influences, and a strong melodic theme brought to life by Detroit saxophonist, Jake Shadik.

Major figure of Los Angeles electronic scene, Kompakt affiliated artist Alexandre Mourcade aka Sonns launched the label Machine Limited in 2013 with TK aka Travis Kirschbaum,  with whom he also makes music as Split Secs. They are opening 2019 with their first various artist EP, made up of material from LA’s best known an rising talents, and 2 personal tracks including ‘Easy Love’, a splendid hazy and mesmerizing house jam, perfect teaser of this charming release.
