The great thing with thesubterranean, is that i do not want my music to be pigeonholed, apart from the electronic tag, i embrace the best of all electronic styles. This track is a slow burner from start to finish, playing about with a different sound, more dark ambient.

'Jack' is a spoken word piece with dark electronic sounds.The words are  written by North East poet, Harry Gallagher. Jack works in the shipyards of Newcastle,a quiet man with a soft heart, but at home he is ruled by his wife, and the consequence is Jack hides in his drink.

thesubterranean - Kill for Fun, this was originally started at the backend of 2015, after shootings in the US. The title of the track is not a sweeping judgement of all gun related crimes in the US, or any other country, which suffers from tragic events.

i.t.h is a new project, mainly instruments, with a splattering of samples. The music is dark electronic/soundtrack/experimental in nature, steering away from traditional song based material.

Bio update 2017-

the music of Murmus and thesubterranean tries to concentrate of the left of field electronica. I.T.H. sets out to make dark/atmospheric instrumentals.

Murmus dabbles in darkish electronica, with influences from early electronic pioneers kraftwerk to depeche mode through to minimal electronic, taking influences from many well known and not so well known electronic artists.

thesubterranean is very much focused on a very dark,  sometimes bleak electronic sound. influences ranging from many electronic artists and sounds , from dark wave , minimal, soundtrack to ebm/industrial.

i.t.h. was born out of my love for the soundtrack, inspired/influenced by the music of Attacus Ross, tv & film, i.t.h. sets out to recreate a dark atmospheric style instrumentals, hopefully setting the moody to dark and brooding.
