Take a journey from the funky stylings of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, to the memorable guitar tones of Jimi Hendrix, all the way back to hard driving rock inspired by Foo Fighters and AC/DC. Then throw in a few sensitive ballads and a hardcore progressive rock song about Johnny Appleseed, and you have the Sunmills. Their songs drip with irony as they poke fun at today’s lifestyle of attachment, yearning for success, and deliberate apathy, even as all their band members suffer from these traits to one degree or another.

The Sunmills have recorded significant portions of 8 songs for an album that they hope to release in the fall of 2021. Featuring Jim Brown (guitar and vocals), Porter Chapman (drums), and Kyle McCann (bass).
