SupaEarth are back with another hot hot hot release from label boss Ruff Diamond feat TAZ and Wanja Janeva, this time in the form of an action-packed remix EP. First released in December 2018, 'Extra High' gained huge support from some of Disco's finest, and rapturous applause on the airwaves too. Second time out sees the record getting some new peak-time energy instilled, incl a brand new (almost 9min!) version from Ruff Diamond himself.

Kicking off proceedings, Ruff Diamond's 'Here To Party Extended Vocal Mix' packs a Funk punch deluxe, featuring the Soulful Funk driven vocal of Berlin's Wanja Janeva in tandem with some firing horn parts from London's finest Dominic Glover aka DJ Deirdre, from the Stellar Horns. Along with chants from TAZ thrown in for good measure, and a new extended arrangement that keeps you continually locked in, this is a party from start to finish!

Next up, Soundcloud Remix Sensation - Jet Boot Jack turns up the heat with a straight up Funkified House version that makes superb use of the vocals, rap and horns, oozing with energy and fun factor for the dancefloor. The prolific DJ and producer always brings an uplifting party atmosphere and this is no exception.

Taking the intensity higher, crowd and party favourite from Argentina - Ladies On Mars lays on a thumping slice of his unique and special brand of Nu-Disco, in-line with some of his recent hot releases on Midnight Riot, Sakura and Tropical Velvet, with a hypnotic bassline, funky guitars and beat to make any system bounce to the max.

One of Manchester's most popular DJs and producers of the last decade, Applique Music supremo and regular SupaEarth collaborator - Lempo takes it into proper basement mode here with a dark and powerful bass heavy cut for the late-night raver, making full use of TAZ's hooks and cleverly edited horns.

Sweetooth, aka Paul Withey & Sarah Lazenby, drop a seriously delicious EP on SupaEarth Records. 'Wild Blood and Weird Powers' consists of four tracks of 80s infused original material with all the perfect ingredients of electronic synth work, drum machines and live musicianship that we have come to expect from this very talented duo, featuring Paul's vocals, vocoder and slick production work on this release.

Kicking off with the energetic 'Feel A Little Love', the weighty drum programming and heavy vocal stack immediately have you rockin'. Catchy vocal and bell synth hooks, and awesome lead guitar from Withey show a touch of class here, some might say reminiscent of Heaven 17, dropped with lashings of 2020 futurism.

'You Make Feel Like Dancin' features a killer live bassline, with strong Ultravox style synth string lines and haunting vocals that have the tonal quality of a young Bernard Sumner, making this track really infectious, with Paul's classic vocoder lines only adding to the richness in this signature sound. In consistency with Sweetooth's accomplished songwriting style, when it hits the bridge, we're met with an uplifting chord progression change, this time involving some tasty steel drum synth magic, before the intensity builds when the mega lead guitar solo fires in, giving firm affirmation of Rockstar status to go along with the electronic wizardry on display here.

'On My Mind' hits the spot instantly with a moogalicious bassline that would get Snoop out of his seat to party. Excellent synth sequencing, drum machine programming, funky pick and rhythm guitar work, and a clever repeating vocal hook, all add to the magic of this number.

'Wild Blood' has a killer groove à la Däm Funk, and dives in with driving West-Coast synth bass, Fairlight style stabs and Juno strings, perfectly complimented by Paul's handy vocoder work, soft pianos and dreamy synths. This one will have many a dancefloor swaying from side to side.

Following a flurry of massively supported numbers recently on labels incl Masterworks Music, Mango Sounds, Sundries, Hot Digits, Spa In Disco, Tropical Disco, his own superb new imprint Super Spicy Records, and Rare Wiri amongst others, he keeps his blistering run of releases going strong with his latest offering.

'Luv Fuzz' is a gloriously funky throwback to the late 70s/early 80s cop show era, with some seriously soulful vocals, tasty monosynth lines, punchy horns and saxes, and a hot as hell boogie backbeat laid down to precision by Monsieur Van Pratt, as you would expect, in typical style as he showcases his expert editing skills once again on this gem of a groove. Leaving some of the classic chord progression and other elements intact, the production oozes a touch of class, and strikes a perfect balance between club ready Disco-Funk gear and retro cool.
