Its gulleys serve as vendor for Ares' lusty gender

Out in front a bit of merchandise is found all broken
Its battery's gone dead and it's motor is a chokin'

Every finger is pointing at another for the blunder
But its dying coughs cease leaving silence like a thunder

Before my righteous anger can cut through this dingy air
I get a message from those hollow eyes' soul-piercing stare.

Just a little ditty I recorded and mixed on Garageband for ipad, thus the crappy quality of the "cello" (ie, violin with the super-lossy "monster" effect), but it was a smash and grab job. Got the idea walking home from a friend's house, and thought a little lilting melody would serve as a nice contrast to the chaos of suburban Indian streets.

A Violet Catch inspired by DforDesmond

Inspired by an early morning photography session at New Delhi's Deer Park near Hauz Khas Village. Solo violin with some some digital bells.

I like what those Chip-tune folks are doing with the retro beeps. It's really nostalgic fun stuff, so this is my attempt at doing something game-y. I also wanted something approximating bagpipes in this one, so I tried going for the feel of the sort of random nature of the soprano line bagpipes can have with a brooding drone underneath.

The piano pretty much sounds like a donkey played it, but this is in the same key as "Sapphire Sonnet" and mixes well with it, if you're inclined to cutting and pasting. The climactic portion with the arpeggios in the synth against the melody works pretty well I think.
