Absence makes the heart grow fonder. The oscillating waves of connection run high not only when together but when apart. Dame and Damage was born out of a time away from my beloved. My imagination envisioned us together through all the ages starting back in the castles of medieval times. During this primitive era, circumstances created a need for a higher form of love. I crave this deepened unity overcoming all.

Both Darkness (2023) and Nowhere (2024), released on Germany’s Young & Cold Records, bear this unmistakable mark. Mills muses, “Nowhere questions the final analysis of the soul’s journey between life and death, are we eternally drifting in the ether or, are we never lost and always found?”

Dame and Damage released on Shadow Zone Records, ushers in the romantic era of 2025 destined to bittersweetly chill those that choose love. Hinting at a new album waiting in the wings for 2025, Mills promising more reflections on love, loss, and the fleeting nature of existence.
