Written origionally back in 2001 and rehashed in 2005.   Was all about my experiences in Wellington before it all came crashing down.   Was somewhat a tribute to my x of the time.

Written way back in 2005.  Have always loved this track..  Guess it's kind of a love song.  But it's more about being a slut and that it's gonna catch up with you once and a while.. Come on I was in my early 20's I was all over the place LOL

All The Way

Absolute classic.. There are so many different versions of this song its fucken crazy..  This is the 2004 version, remastered for the 2007 album.  A bit dated now seeing that Mr Bush is no longer in power LOL...

America

Lovely track I did in Palmerston North back in 2004.  It's all about finding your way back on track after leaving a long term relationship..  Seems quite relevant to my current state of affairs.

Wrote this in August 2001.  No kidding, very spooky considering the lyrical content...  Even got played on Radio Active in Wellington..

1999: WOW this is so old.   All the drums were done using the back of a guitar and an empty cask of wine.  I'm really happy with how much I have been able to restore from the origional recording.

Easy Come Easy Go

First genuine piece of origional music I have written since 2008.  So a long time.  I think the style has certainly shifted.   This is just a draft version, I'd say about 40% complete.  The lyrics are draft lyrics and are not actually the ones I have written down, waiting to get some headphones and a lot of the progressions are not done nor details on the drums or bass.  You get the drift, very much stil a sketch song.  But wanted to get it out there to get some feedback and also see if any one wants to throw in some guitar and possibly some female vocals...  Any way tell me what you think.. PS: I realize the orchestral is too loud, once again, draft...

Got Face Revised

Simon Che de Boer was born in the suburbs of small town New Zealand in the year of our lord 1982. Always embracing the arts, his earliest memories consisted of humming away remixes of the alphabet in the backseat of the families Holden Imp. Starving for freedom of voice and mind in rural New Zealand, Simon prospered on the fringes of culturally diverse Wellington. Upon his 18th birthday, overwhelmed by alternative like minded individuals The System ERA persona was launched..

Through out many years, Simon has indulged in all forms visual and audio. Live vocal & piano performances, digitally composed sophisticated jazz numbers or writing thumping break-beats are but a few of the desired expressive outlets he enjoys. If there is one thing The System ERA thrives on it is diversity in all things musical, as the track "Ghost" demonstrates.

The greater majority of Simon's projects can be described as morally and politically informative in a metaphoric mannerism. Concepts expressed are that of global issues, delving into social and environmental contents, expressing a socialistic view in general. Even with tangent projects you will find the odd expressive comment making their way in there.

In 2003 Simon moved to Auckland to further his education and career as an Audio-Engineer, Producer and Label Marketer. His training at both the "School of Audio Engineering" and "New Zealand Radio Training School" has brought this light to reality. Indulging in everything from producing/voicing documentaries for the likes of National Radio to launching his second album "Abort/Retry/Fail". It is fair to say that things are truly in full swing!
