Over the years, she has crafted a very unique sonic language that transcends the dance floor, into subliminal rhythmic, ambient, and experimental territories. She has a gift for conjuring dynamic narratives that evoke powerful emotions and otherworldly visualisations.

Timnah has a unique way of drawing the listener into her world, rather than guiding them through their own….. and it’s a beautiful place to be.

"I have made this session for Perpendicular Festival 2024, in a wonderful location in the Woods with a special music lover community who had, as me, assisted, listened, danced, and enjoyed three days of an astonishing music experience.
I was the one in charge of the Sunday openning session, so i charged my Vinyl bag with downtempo to wake Up the people on the last leg of this excellent trip.
I Hope those Who listened that day and Who IS listening now enjoy this as i enjoyed made It and play It.

Conscious Listening Mix Series - 26 - Owl

We are delighted to present the second episode of our Live Recording series. This time, we team up with Barcelona's Mostra Festival to share the beautiful DJ set of Lou Drago, who played their irresistible scapes during a Thursday afternoon at Hangar.

Lou Drago is the host of t r a n s i e n c e, a monthly show on Cashmere Radio in Berlin, which aims to offer anxiety relief to its listeners. Together with marum, they host sonic seances under the name infinity rug.

They believe in the transformative potential of sound and the importance of deep listening, whether that means listening to each other, our needs, or the sounds around us. In their sets, they often explore the sonic landscapes of the in-between, where the listener's perspective dictates the experience, yet holds them in a warm embrace to invite a deep dialogue with the listening body-mind.

We are incredibly proud to present this new journey in our Podcast Series recorded by one of our favourite artists, the Barcelona-based DJ and producer Savlador Coromina aka ABSIS 💫

ABSIS needs little introduction for anyone closely following the Spanish deep electronic music scene. Salva is a multi-faceted artists with a consistently impeccable output crisscrossing through genres including drone ambient, hypnotic techno, progressive downbeat and intricate atmospheric half-time. For his most recent release, he returned to the local Hivern Discs and has previously put out music via Oslated, Affin, Secuecias Temporales, Crescent London and the HOC Radio affiliated red edge (a label we recommend checking out if you’re not yet familiar) ✨

Nearly two and a half hours long, this recording showcases Salva’s deep sensibility to commanding energy within a mix, holding it back and releasing as he plays with tension and truly tests the frontiers between ambient and dance music. It is a testament to how reframing genres and introducing them in different contexts can completely alter the way in which we perceive them and how a well researched and carefully executed mix can transcend any preconceived ideas about these. This approach is harmoniously aligned with our vision and we couldn’t be more excited for you to embark on this incredible sonic adventure. Buckle up for the ride! 🌀

Adhémar (@adhemarmusic) is a multi-disciplinary artist, establishing his universe through music and visual works. Constantly in search of the luminous quality of sounds, in a world made of shadows and light, his music is closely linked to his plastic work. This obsession with shadows leads him to think and create spaces, atmospheres that focus on the lightness and poetry of light. The idea of "narrative potential of music", allows us to confront the psychological and philosophical journey with a particular relationship on what is alive and what surrounds us (whether it is the material, immaterial world, the fact that everything is constantly becoming). With a particular rigour for transitions, whether in his own production or in his DJset, his universe is built little by little, with the passing of sound transformations and the light and poetic transportation of it all.

Synthbiont & Anassimandrus (@synthbiontanassimandrus)  is the ambient/experimental project born at the end of 2018 by the collaboration between Nicolò Faggiani and Tommaso Gobbo. Their musical background comes from different musical experiences as DJs, vinyl collectors, and Electronic Music Culture (@electronicmusicculture303) podcast series founders. Making converge their love for electronic sounds, field recording, and meditative experiences, Nicolò (@nic_faggiani) and Tommaso (@tommasogobbo) shaped Synthbiont & Anassimandrus project around researching the deepest ambient atmospheres.  The core idea is to create musical journeys in which the listener can enjoy an immersive and emotional experience in a unique soundscape. Recently releasing their first album on Secuencias Temporales, they also performed in several events and festivals such as Ozora, MoDem k, and Paradigm Festival.

Derek Carter (KapTep) about Music for Migraines:

"The concept for Music for Migraines began with a track on my debut release Overcast on Chitra Records in 2023 (chitrarecords.bandcamp.com/album/overcast). At the time I was putting the album together, my intention was to do several songs on the album in that vein, hence the aptly titled Music for Migraines (Part 1). This is music to slow the mind down, relax, heal, and mend. For one reason or another, I never got back to the creation of additional MFM tracks for that release.

Fast forward to the summer of 2024, I began revisiting the concept. This time the idea was to do an EP. Around that same time, I was talking with Brannan Lane and pitched the MFM concept and the idea of collaborating on this as an EP. Brannan agreed, and we set out on the journey. We started out thinking perhaps 2 or 3 original songs plus a remix. However, what followed was a flurry of creativity as we quickly exchanged wavs, stems, edits. The end result was 7 original songs and 4 remixes.

Helpfully you will find this album to be a step towards healing, a breath of fresh air, and just what you need to slow down the mind. Lo-fi Ambient if you will.

I’m very proud of what we accomplished. I certainly could not have done this without Brannan whose help and skills with music production, mixing, and all-around professionalism are unmatched.

A big thank you also goes out to those artists who were so generous with their time to provide remixes. Each artist brought a different view and expertise to the project.
