Basel’s Timnah joins our series with a long-anticipated recording from last year’s inaugural pe:rsona, an intimate gathering from the minds at Positive Education. Over the years Timnah has established a reputation for expansive and visionary selections without equal, lending her voice to the beloved Amentia and A Walking Contradiction collectives and leading audiences into captivating unknowns worldwide. Recorded live in the French countryside at the peak of summer, Timnah’s set smolders with delicate tension, lacing outward like tendrils upon shattering glass. The Observatory - Vand

A 4-hour drift through layered atmospheres and leftfield experimentation, this extended opening set by Pianeti Sintetici marked the beginning of DE RIO’s 6th anniversary celebration, a 14-hour open-air gathering held in a hidden location among the hills of Florence. Known for his deeply textured sonic explorations and immersive works, Pianeti Sintetici invited early listeners into a slow-burning journey. Moving from fragile drones and spatial electronics to abstract rhythms and weightless transitions, the set established a space of introspection, friction, and quiet intensity.

Konsudd is the super group made up of two of electronic music’s finest: Konduku and Aa Sudd. Combining forces like two celestial bodies spiraling into one another to form a galaxy, their individual sounds coalesce into a universe of half tempo electronics teleported directly from the future.

Captured live at the legendary Positive Education Festival, this mix is a testament to the alchemical power of collaboration. It unfolds as a deep trip through fractured rhythms and glistening, crystalline textures. Deconstructed kicks echo through shifting sonic architecture, interwoven with shimmering synth pads that hum with otherworldly energy. Here, rhythmic complexity and futuristic sound design converge to create something meticulously crafted, yet breathing with an organic, unpredictable life.

We’re delighted to share another great chapter of our Herbarium mix series, this time recorded by @reasphere! 🌸 It’s a journey full of gems from which you can sense that they have been waiting for the right opportunity to pop out in a very special story. Minimalistic yet trippy and deep compositions with very few but perfectly on point placed elements. rea chose Colobanthus Quitensis (also known as the Antarctic pearlwort) as inspiration for his mix.

Here's a little backstory by rea about his choice:
“It’s the the most southern species growing in Patagonia and Southern Antarctica.
Even above the polar circle it’s sometimes too hot for the plant to survive - similar to the selected music it needs a very specific setting and mood to unfold its power.
Enjoy the sharp resilience.”

There’s something profoundly healing in the music of French duo Javier Salazar, whose output embodies the true medicinal power of sound. 

This mix takes our mind’s eye into the sunshine - grass between our toes, spliff in hand - as we get intimate with the scoops, wrapped in a warm, enveloping blanket of sound.
