About this journey:
In the past 1.5 years, time passes differently than before. Slower and faster at the same time. No one was really prepared for this form of a global pandemic, a global crisis. It’s a long and tough wait, sometimes hoping and fearing. Existences are threatened directly or indirectly. For me, it also shows how little capacity the global North has in dealing with existential crises. Norms and moral boundaries are shifting, revealing all their ambiguity and hypocrisy. Many people in the global South are still waiting for vaccines, and here millions are not getting vaccinated out of irrational fears and assumptions. Terms like dictatorship are grossly distorted. Freedom is demanded, but it means selfishness, lack of empathy, bossiness and malice. There’s a loud and aggressive, hyperpivileged minority that screams the loudest. But people die in silence. A simple and frightening logic.  It is a matter of time. It is about patience. It's about courage. About renunciation. About each and every one. What exactly music and art can achieve in this disturbing time, we all define.

As the music pulsed, it served as a reminder—Memento mori, "Remember Death." The beats weren't just rhythms; they were echoes of impermanence, a celebration of the present in the face of an uncertain future. The dance became a dance with time itself, a collective acknowledgment that every step taken was closer to the unknown.

In this brief symphony, the audience loses themselves in the beauty of the transitory. "Memento mori" Isn't a mere DJ set; it is a meditation on existence, a sonic tapestry weaving through the threads of life and death. And as the final notes echoed, the dance floor stood still, caught between the melancholy of goodbyes and the joy of being present at the moment—Memento mori, Is a reminder to dance as if time were watching.
