Nature Burns

Past 2 days I've been working on some ideas based around The Sleeper (Edgar Allan Poe). The music is mine, and this is the first part of the poem. I'm not a singer so my vocals are really only a sketch of what I'd hope to ever achieve.

Will today be our "Independence Day" from all the arseholes? 

I was tracking some chords today, fingers really hurt so put the click on this one to space the chords out. Layered 2 more inversions of the same chords to make it sloppy. Tried two leads, didn't like it, literally panned them hard left and right and decided to do a slide guitar bit but high up the 14th fret. Tried a wrench, canned that and found my brass slide in with my little box of tools.

Had to do a fair bit of gating due to the chair I was sat on being more squeaky than the proverbial mouse.
