This is "Carry On," an epic metal rock ballad (5:57 min) by Beyond & Before Music, inspired by the novel "Hinter uns das Land" ("Behind Us The Land") by Frank Talmon l'Armée.

There’s a restless energy in the shifting time signatures and layered instrumentation—Matthias Helguson’s drums drive the track forward while Mike Taylor’s keys offer both shimmer and shadow. The Heima Kvartett—Lisbeth Heima, Sif Árnadóttir, Natasha Guðmundsdóttir, and Ída Sigurðardóttir—pull the piece in and out of tension with sweeping strings and sudden stabs, making for a journey that feels both cinematic and deeply alive. After the existential crisis of The Judgement, I wanted something soothing and comforting to round things off, and I could think of no better for that than Americana roots rock. The words are a mash-up from Auguries of Innocence by William Blake.

It was like in the spy action movie. You find yourself in the middle of atomic bunker of communist era with mission to find the secret document and escape before time’s up and guardians catch you.

It was about 2 years back. We made our first escape game in the heart of Prague. And yes, we did it!!!

I’ve been writing, recording, and mixing my own music since I was a kid with sticks in my hands and fire in my chest. My debut album, Lucidly Surreal, dropped in January—and since then, I’ve been chasing the edge of every sound I create.

Now I’m deep into my second album, AfterShock, six tracks mastered and building momentum. Singles like Love Lost have set the tone, and my newest release, Daniel’s Delusion, brings cinematic rock energy with full band and drumline power—intense, atmospheric, and impossible to ignore.

My music isn’t background noise. It’s emotional expression—layered guitars, dark textures, tight arrangements, and raw energy. Tracks like Runner and Daniel’s Delusion pull from personal struggle, restless energy, and the stories that shape life in Christchurch, Aotearoa New Zealand, but they reach a global audience.
