'Density' is the ninth release on Cortex Recordings and Tony Tyson's sixth on the imprint since its launch in October 2017.
The title track is dominated by an intense, EBM inspired synth arpeggio that ebbs and flows throughout the track, providing powerful tension and release. 
'Chemical Shift' is an energetic acid workout: a hypnotic bassline provides a solid foundation whilst classic 303 squelches take centre stage.

Stef Mendesidis returns to Klockworks with a massive four-tracker. A resident at Moscow’s Monasterio, the DJ & producer has developed a solid techno sound channelling cinematic aesthetics that he already proved with his first appearance on the label.
Mostly using analogue gear Mendesidis records his grooves in one take. ‘Klockworks 26’ includes 4 of his distinctive cuts showcasing his excellent production that you will experience at Ben Klock’s DJ sets.

Moscow's Monasterio resident Stef Mendesidis has once again been tapped by techno superstar Ben Klock to concoct a crucial techno EP for his Klockworks imprint. The four distinctive cuts that appear on the release have become essential peak-time ingredients in the label head's DJ sets.

Ahead of the 'Klockworks 26' release date on August 16, Mendesidis has handed over the swirling and disorienting cut 'Celesta 33' to Mixmag for a premiere.

Tony Tyson’s third EP of 2019 is made of two dancefloor oriented techno cuts. 
Title track Glass Hammer is a fast, floor shaking belter with ethereal synths providing just a hint of melody.
Voltage takes the pace down only slightly, combining a hypnotic synth riff which rolls on relentlessly throughout the length of the track with an atmospheric breakdown.

On The World of Monnom Black II, new artists including VTSS, DIMI (AnD), Vladimir Dubyshkin, Hadone, Fractions, LDS, Aahan and Buried Secrets all throw down tracks which fuse tight machine rhythms with intricate detail. There's also a return for many established label favourites such as UVB, Dax J, Zanias and Thomas P. Heckmann as Knarz.

To round out the compilation there’s a re-release of the timeless 1998 cut, “Devious Methods,” from legendary artist, Hive, and Tellurian’s hardcore classic, “Big Bad City,” gets a new mix from Dax J.
 
This release further confirms Monnom Black’s reputation for representing raw analogue music and cements the label’s place as the home of some of the roughest and classiest contemporary sounds in techno.

Tony Tyson is a techno producer and DJ from Rotterdam, The Netherlands. His style includes influences of acid, industrial and deep techno. His record label Cortex Recordings serves as a platform for Tyson's own music as well as that of like-minded others.
