The Tortured Sky is a music project that was founded in New York City in 2018, and produces music that is often dark and melancholic, and is a blend of art rock, ambient, dream pop, progressive rock, gothic rock, psychedelic, ethereal wave, etc.

Musically, The Tortured Sky is inspired by the works of artists as diverse as Pink Floyd / David Gilmour, The Moody Blues / Justin Hayward, The Cure, The Church, Porcupine Tree / Steven Wilson, No-Man / Tim Bowness, and many, many more.
