The Viet Veranda (2021) tells the story of an old Vietnamese architecture  through the eyes of a child, living innocently and seemingly invulnerable to the complex surroundings.
It is written for a set-up of 2 classical guitars. 1 guitarist will play both guitars, with one prepared as a guqin, on a horizontal stand in front of the soloist.

The piece belongs to a series of solo miniatures for solo classical guitar and solo piano.
